Nok Air explains delayed flight from Loei to Don Mueang

BANGKOK, April 20 (TNA) – Nok Air explained the Loei-Don Mueang flight on Friday morning was delayed after a German passenger said there was a bomb in his carry-on bag. The DD9705 flight with 83 passengers, pilots and five crew was scheduled to leave Loei airport at 10.30 am., but a passenger said there was a bomb in his bag. The pilots then complied with the international safety standard by informing the airport officials and related agencies. All passengers were instructed to leave the plane and search was conducted on the plane. Nothing, posing a risk on the safety was found, so the plan left Loei airport at 11.30 am and arrived at Don Mueang airport safety at 12.40 pm. The German man was escorted to the Loei police station and a legal action will be taken against him. Nok Air is a low-cost airline in Thailand operating mostly domestic services out of Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport. Thai Airways International owns the largest stake in the airline.
