Prime minister arrived in Singapore for ASEAN Summit

SINGAPORE, April 27 (TNA) -- Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha arrived in Singapore to meet Thai authorities and be briefed on relevant issues before attending the 32nd ASEAN Summit. The delegation of Gen Prayut arrived at Shangi airport at 2.50pm local time. Then it checked in at InterContinental Hotel. There the prime minister met Thai authorities who briefed him on issues related to the ASEAN Summit set for April 27 and 28 with the concept of “Resilience and Innovative” The plenary session of the summit was set at the office of the Singaporean president on April 27. There ASEAN leaders will discuss sustainable development, ageing society solutions, and cybersecurity. Thailand calls for the establishment of relevant institutions to work on the three issues. Meanwhile, Singapore emphasizes economic cooperation. Prime Minister Prayut was set to join a dinner at the Singaporean president’s office before attending the plenary session. (TNA)
