Top Thai billionaires unveiled by Forbes

Thailand's top 50 billionaires for 2018 have been unveiled by globally-renowned US-based Forbes Magazine, including family members of the country's most established conglomerates and some newly-listed business executives. The top four Thai billionaires for 2018, announced by Forbes, include siblings of the Chearavanont's Family, running the Charoen Pokphand (CP) Group, with their combined wealths of about 937 billion baht, their historic peak, followed by members of the Chirathivat's Family, running the Central Group, with their combined wealths of about 662 billion baht, as well as Chalerm Yoovidhya , an heir to the Red Bull energy drink business founder Chaleo Yoovidhya, and Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, the founder of Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev) and the chairman of the TCC Group and Fraser and Neave Limited, with their combined assets of about 656 billion baht and about 543 billion baht respectively. There are also some other Thai business executives who have been on the Forbes' list of the Thai Kingdom's top 50 billionaires for 2018 for the first time, including Sarath Ratanavadi, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (Gulf) and Prachak Tangkaravakoon, Board Chairman of TOA Paint (Thailand) Co., Ltd., as well as the founding spouse of Beauty Community Public Company Limited (BEAUTY), Dr. Suwin and Thanyaporn Kraiphubet, and Sarawut Pornpatanarak, CEO of Do Day Dream Public Company Limited, who have been ranked the country's 7th, 14th, 40th and 45th richest persons with their wealths of 106 billion baht, 65.6 billion baht, 22.3 billion baht and 21.1 billion baht respectively.
