Ukrainian Foreign Minister: Azerbaijan has become a leader in the region

Ivano-Frankivsk, May 7, AZERTAC Azerbaijan has become a leader in the region and plays the role of locomotive in international projects, said Pavlo Klimkin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine in his statement to AZERTAC. The minister emphasized that Azerbaijan is one of the most exemplary countries in terms of development of multiculturalism and religious tolerance. “I am very glad that friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine are developing steadily. Of course, the roots of this friendship are based on very ancient history. Indeed, your country is a true leader in the region”, Pavlo Klimkin told. Ukrainian Foreign Minister congratulated the friendly and brotherly Azerbaijani people on the occasion of the 100th jubilee of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. Within the framework of the international festival "Karpatski Prostor" and the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic in Ivano-Frankivsk Azerbaijani Embassy held a number of events.
