Cultural fair to be held in Lop Buri

LOP BURI, May 9 (TNA) – Four upper central provinces co-organize the Chao Phraya- Pasak festival in Lop Buri to promote local products, Thai textile, art and culture. Lop Buri governor, Supakit Phoprapapan said the Chao Phraya – Pasak Expo 2018 will be organized from May 18-27 at the King Narai’s Palace in the provincial seat. Public members are invited to wear traditional Thai clothes to shop for Thai cloth and Thai desserts at the event. The fair will be co-organized by four provinces, Lop Buri, Sing Buri, Chai Nat and Ang Thong. Local products of each province will be sold at the fair such Mud Mee textile from weaving villages in Lop Buri. Among the highlights at the event are folk games, a Thai textile fashion show. About 100 shops will offer varieties of OTOP local products. The governor said the fair is in line with the government policy to promote local tourism and local products as well as to develop small and medium enterprises. (TNA)
