President Ram Nath Kovind: India is interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan

Baku, June 2, AZERTAC Indian President Ram Nath Kovind has expressed his country`s interest in cooperating with Azerbaijan as he received ambassador Ashraf Shikhaliyev`s credentials. He said India is interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in the fields of energy, investment, film industry, IT, agriculture, tourism and pharmaceutical industry. The Indian President said the two countries are key participants in the North-South international transportation corridor. Ram Nath Kovind underlined the importance of expanding the bilateral trade between the two countries. Ambassador Shikhaliyev vowed to do his utmost during his diplomatic tenure to develop relations between Azerbaijan and India in all areas. The Indian President wished ambassador Shikhaliyev success. They also exchanged views over the prospects of developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and India in a variety of areas.
