Labour Minister receives US ambassador

Manama, June 13 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister and Board Chairman of the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received today the US Ambassador to Bahrain Justin Siberell. The meeting focused on the main programmes implemented by the Labour and Social Development Ministry to improve citizens’ life. Both sides emphasised the importance of boosting cooperation between both countries in the labour and social insurance field. The Labour and Social Development Minister lauded historic and growing bilateral relations, pointing out the rich experience of the USA in developing the labour and social care systems. The US ambassador praised Bahrain’s achievements in the labour and social care fields, lauding the projects carried out by the Labour and Social Development Ministry and LMRA to combat human trafficking.
