Bahrain space team application deadline is July 29

Manama, July 22 (BNA): CEO of National Space Science Agency (NSSA), Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Asiri, said more than 1,500 applications to join the Bahrain space team programme have been submitted since the launch of the programme on July 7, 2018. Al Asiri said eligible applicants could submit their applications via website www.nssa.gov.bh until 29 July. He explained the Bahrain pace team programme has been carefully designed to attract elite national aptitudes specialized in certain scientific fields to establish this promising sector in Bahrain to contribute to achieving the national development goals. He added the Bahrain space team is designed to accept 10 members to implement an array of space programmes after passing a 24-month training programme inside Bahrain and abroad. He said NSSA and a number of international space agencies have carefully set the specialties required. Adding selecting the team members is based on certain standards, test results which the applicants should go through, in addition to the required documents.
