Deputy Ombudsman receives EU official

Manama, July 24 (BNA): Deputy Ombudsman Ausama Al Asfoor has received Alexis Konstantopoulos, Senior Advisor at the European Union (EU)'s Riyadh-based Delegation to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The deputy Ombudsman briefed the EU official about the Ombudsman efforts in boosting the respecting of human rights within its obligations towards professional standards in this regard. He affirmed the Ombudsman's keenness on continuous communicating and extending bridges of cooperation with international organisations to benefit from their expertise and professional experiences relevant to the Ombudsman's work. Ghada Habib the Director of International Cooperation and Development was also present during the meeting.
