Thai chemistry and physics Olympic medalists have returned home

BANGKOK, July 30 (TNA) – The Thai students who won medals from chemistry and physics Olympiads in Slovakia, Czech and Portugal have returned to Thailand. The Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) stated that the students returned from the 50th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) set in Bratislava, Slovakia, and in Prague, Czech, on July 19-29 and from the 49th International Physics Olympiad in Lisbon, Portugal, on July 21-29. The IPST welcomed them at Suvarnabhumi airport. The Thai students won a gold medal and three silver medals in the chemistry Olympiad and another gold medal and four silver medals in the physics Olympiad. (TNA)
