HRH Premier receives invitation to visit South Korea

Manama, Aug. 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received an invitation to make an official visit to South Korea. This came as HRH Premier received, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, the South Korean Ambassador to Bahrain, Koo Hyun-Mo, who handed over to him a written message from his Korean counterpart, inviting him to visit his country. The meeting reviewed relations between the two friendly countries, and their shared desire to bolster bilateral cooperation in various fields. HRH the Prime Minister said that the Republic of Korea’s remarkable progress in the economic, developmental, technological and industrial levels and its good relations with various countries of the world have strengthened its international standing. HRH Premier stressed that the four-decade Bahraini-South Korean cooperation has achieved outstanding success, noting that the kingdom is pleased to be among the first countries in the region to have multiple cooperation fields with South Korea. The Prime Minister reviewed with the ambassador the progress of the Bahraini-South Korean relations of friendship, stressing Bahrain’s interest in bolstering bilateral cooperation and coordination in various fields. HRH Premier expressed satisfaction with the advanced level reached by the Bahraini-South Korean cooperation, noting that relations between the two friendly countries and their peoples have always been based on mutual respect and shared keenness to achieve common interests. HRH the Prime Minister affirmed the strength of the joint economic and political relations, and shared desire of the two countries to open up new horizons of cooperation between them. The South Korean Ambassador underlined his country’s admiration for the landmark achievements attained by the Government of Bahrain, under the leadership of HRH Premier, and its success in earning Bahrain leadership positions in various fields. He affirmed that efforts to bolster bilateral cooepration would continue in order to achieve joint interests.
