SMEs invited to join "MCOT MART"

BANGKOK, August 3 (TNA) - MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), a most established Thai media firm, has launched a wholesale initiative, called the "MCOT MART", in which small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the country are welcome to participate to sell their products to areas nationwide and to other ASEAN neighboring countries and China. In cooperation with AEC Trade Center Co., Ltd., MCOT announced the "MCOT MART" project on Friday, saying that SMEs nationwide are invited to join in the new wholesale platform, located about seven kilometers far from Thailand-based Thammasat University Rangsit Center on the outskirts of Bangkok. The public announcement stated that the 300,000-square meter-"MCOT MART" will become a new one stop service wholesale platform catering for SMEs that produce and sell their products to all other areas across Thailand. Besides, the newly-opened "MCOT MART" will also serve SMEs that want to export their products to other neighboring countries in the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and China. There are also centers for financial, taxation, packaging design, trademark registration and business license consulting firms located in the compound of the "MCOT MART". Interested SMEs are welcome to attend the "Open House" event, to be organized at the MCOT head office in the capital at 1pm on August 7, to be briefed on qualifications and conditions required for their participation in the "MCOT MART" initiative.
