Serious measures against obscenity in public parks
BANGKOK, Aug 14 (TNA) – Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) will increase patrols in 36 public parks to prevent persons from committing lewd conducts following complaints about homosexual men having sex in Lumpini Park.
Wallaya Wattanarat, the Director of the Environmental Office of the BMA convened a meeting with park officials to step up measures and keep a close watch after the complaints went viral on social network.
The meeting agreed to increase more patrols and more officials at all 36 parks. Additional CCTV surveillance cameras will be installed.
Currently, there are 507 security guards at all public parks in Bangkok. If they see any obscene acts, they will notify the police immediately to take legal action against the culprits. (TNA)
