MAS OFFERS LOW TRAVEL DEALS AT MATTA FAIR

PETALING JAYA, March 11 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is offering
attractive travel deals inclusive of airfares with prices as low RM120 (US$33)
to Asean destinations.

MAS Commercial Director Rashid Khan said the travel deals were
available at the three-day Matta Fair beginning Friday at the Putra World Trade
Centre (PWTC) in Kuala Lumpur.

Other great deals included MASholidays travel packages ranging from
RM787 (US$212) per person for three days and two nights to Yogyakarta to RM1,555
(US$420) for four days and three nights to Bali, Indonesia," he said at a joint
MAS-Matta (Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents) news conference here
Wednesday.

For Muslim travellers, there were Umrah packages for Medina and Mecca
availabale at RM5,344 (US$1,445) for a nine-day seven-night tour, he said.

"Visitors to the fair stand a chance to win free tickets to Hanoi, Vietnam
and Phuket, Thailan d without purchasing anything, just by filling the
forms provided," he added.

Meanwhile, organising chairman Datuk Mohd Khalid Harun said more than 70,000
visitors were expected.
