PROJECT MEMORANDUM SIGNED TO ESTABLISH INDEPENDENT ENERGY CITY IN ULAANBAATAR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A memorandum was signed on August 31 for the Project on establishing a town with independent energy in Ulaanbaatar city within the cooperation of Ulaanbaatar city and Gyeonsangbuk province of the Republic of Korea. As of today, independent systems based on advanced renewable energy technology have been installed in 10 locations of residential areas of Ulaanbaatar city and a comprehensive study has been conducted in order to formulate a business plan of the project. By implementing the project, it will completely resolve energy problems of some 300-1000 households of each location with the use of renewable energy. It is expected to be completed by September of 2019, reported officials.
