BANGKOK, Sept 7 (TNA) – The spokesperson of the Foreign Affairs Ministry said the official reports on the autopsies of two female Thai students who were found dead in Seattle would be completed in eight weeks and existing information showed that they died of stab wounds. Busadee Santipitaks, the spokesperson, quoted the Thai consulate-general in Los Angeles as reporting that King County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Kornkamon Leenawarat was stabbed and killed and Thiti-on Chotechuangsap died of suicide after stabbing her own chest. The incident happened at their apartment in Seattle. The consulate-general coordinated funeral plans and relevant procedures with the families of the dead. A younger brother of Thiti-on would travel to Seattle, have the body cremated there and bring ashes back to Thailand. The family of Kornkamon would bring the body back for funeral in Thailand, Ms Busadee who is also the director general of the Department of Information said. The Thai consulate-general was following up information about the case closely with the Seattle Police Department and inquiring about insurance coverage from the University of Washington where they studied, she said.
