Future Forward Party members hear charges of violating computer act
BANGKOK, Sept 17 (TNA) – Future Forward Party founder, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit and two key party members reported to the police on Monday to hear charges of violating the Computer Act following his comment about the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) during his Facebook Live on June 29.
Two other members are Jaruwan Saranket and Klaikong Waithayakarn.
Deputy spokesman of Technology Crime Suppress Division, Pol Colonel Siriwat Deepor said the trio were charged with giving false information that could cause damage or provoke a public disturbance.
If they are found guilty, they could face five years in prison, a fine of 100,000 baht or both. (TNA)
