Iran economy grows by 1.8% in 1st quarter

TEHRAN, Sep. 17 (MNA) – The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) said Sun. that during the first three months of Iranian year, the economic growth rate stood at 1.8%. According to the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) statistics, during the first three months of Iranian year (beginning on March 21), the Iranian GDP showed an increase of 1.8%. The CBI report has provided further details about the GDP growth rate for summer, during which the first round of US re-instated sanctions took effect after its unlawful withdrawal from the nuclear deal back in May.
