Foreign Minister attends meeting on Financing 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

New York, Sep. 24 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, attended the high-level meeting on "Financing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development", following the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. A number of Presidents and government heads participating in the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly attended this high-level meeting in New York. The meeting revolved around priorities for scaling up financing for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ways to align global financial and economic policies with the 2030 Agenda, enhance sustainable financing strategies, and seizing the potential of financial innovations, new technologies and digitalization to provide equitable access to finance.
