Minister receives GMI delegation

Manama, Sept. 25 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a high-level delegation from Gulf Markets International, led by Chairman of the Board of Directors Mishal Abdulnabi Al-Shula. The minister reviewed the company's activities in the field of smart lighting, as well as lamps and electrical energy-saving devices. He praised the company’s efforts and prominent role in different fields. The visitors briefed the minister on the company's desire to invest in smart lighting projects according to the opportunities available in these areas and to contribute to the marketing of a number of products for the consumption of electricity and water. The minister welcomed such initiatives and opening the horizons of investment for local and international companies and institutions. He spoke about the national goals in the fields of sustainable development and the culture of rationalization of consumption and added the doors of senior officials in the country are always open to meet with investors and support them by all means available. The visiting officials expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister and officials for the good reception, welcome and support enjoyed by investors in the interests of the country and its citizens.
