HRH Premier visits Saudi Embassy

Manama, Sept. 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that Bahrainis celebrate Saudi Arabia’s national occasions given the two peoples’ shared history, fraternity and cohesion. "What makes Saudi Arabia happy makes Bahrain happy, and we are keen to showcase our love and appreciation towards sisterly Saudi Arabia through visiting the Saudi Embassy on the Saudi National Day to express our love for the sisterly kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and its brotherly people. Every Saudi citizen has the right to be proud of their leaders who have achieved a lot for their country, people and Nation," HRH Premier said. HRH Premier made the statements as he visited the Saudi Embassy marking Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day, and was keen to be accompanied by members of the government, including all ministers and deputy premiers. The Prime Minister said that the Saudi National Day is a distinguished occasion both in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, noting that those who seek good for the Arab and Muslim nations rejoice over Saudi national occasions because Saudi Arabia launches good initiatives and is the pillar of security and stability, and a global weight centre that is appreciated and respected by countries and organisations. HRH Premier reiterated support for the initiatives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, hailing the solid long-standing relations between the two kingdoms and their peoples.  The Premier said that the countries of the world should back Saudi Arabia’s stances aimed at safeguarding the region’s security and stability, stressing that Saudi Arabia’s firm stances aim to achieve collective interests. HRH the Prime Minister extended deepest congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and the brotherly Saudi people marking Saudi Arabia’s 88th National Day, praying to Allah the Almighty to bless them with ever-lasting happiness, and their country with further progress and prosperity, under its leadership. HRH Premier lauded the progress boom witnessed by Saudi Arabia in various fields, commending the tremendous efforts it is exerting in the service of the holy sites. Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulmalik Al-Shaikh, expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HRH Premier for visiting the Saudi Embassy to share with Saudi Arabia its celebrations of its National Day, which, he said, reflects the Prime Minister’s love for Saudi Arabia and its people. "It is a mutual love. HRH Premier enjoys the appreciation and respect of all Saudi citizens, who admire his stances and achievements which earned local and international acclaim," the envoy said. He praised HRH the Prime Minister’s constant interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields, affirming that the Bahraini-Saudi relations have always been based on solid foundations of mutual love and respect, which has entitled them to be an example to be emulated in relations between countries.
