LazStar Academy Makes Its Debut

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 26 (Bernama) -- LAZADA, Alibaba Business School and Taobao University have joined hands to present the LazStar Academy, a network of certified expert trainers in Southeast Asia to benefit the wider seller community on LAZADA. Available in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, LazStar will bring local know-how and insider advice from some of the most successful and experienced-LAZADA sellers so that business owners can avoid pitfalls as they accelerate the growth of their online business, LAZADA said in a statement Wednesday. LAZADA Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Christophe Lejeune said LazStar Academy was a key example of its collaborative effort with Alibaba to advance the e-Commerce knowledge and professional skills of its sellers who would impart them to others in the community. LazStar Academy training would be jointly developed by certified seller trainers, Taobao University and LAZADA and the modules would provide valuable insights from local entrepreneurs on LAZADA and best practices from Alibaba. LazStar lectures, conducted by certified trainers, would help participants gain and retain customers while maximising revenue amid the fast expanding e-Commerce landscape. -- BERNAMA
