RHB Singapore Partners Delta Insurance to Offer Cyber Insurance

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 27 (Bernama) -- RHB Singapore is collaborating with Delta Insurance Singapore to offer its commercial and corporate customers cyber insurance with free risk assessment and consultation. RHB Bank Singapore Head of Small and Medium Enterprises and Regional Sales Department Daniel Yeo said, as many companies are tapping into technology to boost productivity and to aid in their business expansion, exposure to cybercrime has also increased correspondingly. “We hope to help customers identify potential cyber risks and prepare appropriate protection against them. “We go the extra mile to strengthen our relationship with customers by offering a holistic suite of solutions to cater to their needs more effectively,” he said in a statement Thursday. According to the statement, cyber crimes cost an estimated US$1 trillion globally and over S$2 billion in Singapore annually. The average cyber insurance cost ranges between S$500 and S$5,000, depending on the complexity of the services provided. -- BERNAMA
