'Bahrain achieved a lot under HM King's leadership'

Manama, Sept. 30 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has asserted that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has attained a lot of achievements, and that such gains and accomplishments will be optimised. The Prime Minister expressed pride in the Bahrain people’s capabilities thanks to which Bahrain has succeed in reaching world levels in multiple political, media, cultural, medical, sports and professional fields, among others, emphasisng his confidence in the ability of the Bahraini citizens to attain more civilisational and development strides for Bahrain. "We have great confidence in our male and female citizens, and we rely heavily on them in enhancing our country’s development and progress," he said. HRH Premier praised the Bahraini people’s awareness, openness and high sense of responsibility, which have made them firm and steadfast in countering voices of sedition and making their false statements redundant, devoid and without any impact on society, noting that Bahrain, under the leadership of HM the King, is on the right track to build on and optimise the landmark achievements attained during HM King Hamad’s prosperous era. The latest developments require enhancing national awareness, placing national interest on top of everything else and making the achievement of the interests of the homeland and the citizens the only ultimate goal of every action. HRH Premier made the statements while receiving, at the Gudaibiya Palace today, officials, businessmen, intellectuals, as well as press and media personnel, who lauded the keenness of the government, under his leadership, to put in place all requirements of success for the citizens so as to be distinct in various fields, which has consolidated the reputation of Bahrain and its citizens regionally and globally, and earned Bahrainis the acclaim and confidence of international organisations and ensured their access to their leadership positions. During the audience, HRH Premier said: "What we have achieved for this nation is required by our responsibilities towards Bahrain and its citizens. Whatever we offered for this nation, it is little compared with what the citizens deserve, and we look forward to ensuring that they enjoy the best quality services." The Prime Minister stressed that the government is proud of Bahrainis, and appreciates them, noting that they are qualified and experienced in every field, and their contributions to development is widely recohnised. "For us, Bahrainis are like no other. They are the cornerstone of development, and the basis of progress. We always recognize their competence and distinction, and our strong belief in them is confirmed by many countries of the world, which consider the competence of the Bahraini citizens one of the distinctive feature of the kingdom and among the most prominent investment incentives in it," he said, noting that the world’s praise of Bahrain’s achievements is a tribute to its citizens who are the agents of its accomplishments, and thanks to their "muscles", the kingdom achieved a widely-acknowledged renaissance march.   HRH Premier stressed that the Bahraini citizens have always been the protective shields of the kingdom, and have, thanks to their awareness, foiled all conspiracies staged the homeland, noting that the challenges faced by Bahrain during its modern history is a living proof of the Bahraini people’s honourable patriotic stances which will always remain engraved in the national memory.
