Siriraj Hospital to commemorate death of HM late King Bhumibol

BANGKOK, Oct 8 (TNA) – Siriraj Hospital will hold the event to commemorate the second anniversary of the death of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on Oct 13. Deputy director of Siriraj Hospital, Dr Thara Wongwiriyangkul said that there will be morning alms, offered to 99 monks from 6-7.30am, followed by the ceremony to observe the moment of silence for 89 seconds at 8 am. The highlight will be the meditation and the display of the shadow sculpture over the Srisangwan Building and the ceremony to pay respect to the late King. In the evening, there will be music performance, featuring songs, composed by King Bhumibol and a light and sound show, entitled “Father’s Dream. Public members are invited to wear yellow t-shirt to join the event. (TNA)
