Labour minister receives Sudanese ambassador

Manama, Oct. 8 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, received here today the Sudanese Ambassador to Bahrain, Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Hassan, and discussed with him ways to enhance cooperation in labour and development fields. The minister stressed the depth of the Bahraini-Sudanese relations. He also informed the ambassador about the Labour and Social Development Ministry's programmes and work plans, highlighting the efforts being exerted regarding human development, employment programmes, the labour market’s systems and consolidation of social protection. He called for the need to strengthen cooperation between the brotherly two countries to serve human development programmes. The envoy lauded the level of Bahraini-Sudanese relations, noting that the kingdom enjoys a prominent international status thanks to the progress boom it is witnessing at all levels. He expressed the Sudanese government’s desire to enhance cooperation with Bahrain in various fields, particularly labour and social development.
