Charity prize-winners to be honoured on Wednesday

Manama, Oct.9 (BNA): The winners of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa Charity Award will be honored on Wednesday. The 5th prize-distribution ceremony will be held tomorrow evening at the Sofitel Hotel Bahrain Zallaq. The award which was initially launched ten years ago (2008), aims to promote care for parents and the elderly. This year’s ceremony celebrates ten years of charity initiatives, launched by HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa. The award acknowledges leading personalities and establishments which contributed to supporting charity work in all fields. The list of honorees includes winners from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain, who will be honored, in recognition of their charity and humanitarian work
