HM King congratulated by BCCI Chairman

Manama, Oct. 14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Board Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Samir Abdullah Nass on Bahrain’s winning a seat at the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the period 2019-2021. He hailed the victory of Bahrain as member of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the period 2019-2021, by 165 votes, in the elections held at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. He also lauded the landmark achievement, paying tribute to HM the King for his approach in supporting and consolidating human rights, stressing the kingdom's unrelenting regional and international efforts to tackle challenges facing the international community.
