HRH Premier congratulated by Bahraini ambassador to Russia

Manama, Oct. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Bahraini Ambassador to Russia Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Sa'ati on Bahrain’s winning a seat at the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the period 2019-2021. He hailed the victory of Bahrain as member of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) for the period 2019-2021, by 165 votes (86%), in the elections held at the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. He also lauded the landmark achievement, describing it as an international recognition of the kingdom's constitutional and institutional reforms and honourable human rights record.
