HM King congratulated on sport milestone

Manama, Oct.14 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa on the landmark achievement of the Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council of Youth and Sports Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who won the IRONMAN World Championship which was held in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, USA. The minister hailed the new milestone which, he said, reflects royal support to developing sport and bolster Bahrain’s standing in regional and international arenas, hailing the Kingdom’s landmark national strides.
