Ambassador Al-Amer inaugurates two books

Manama, Oct. 15 (BNA): Under the patronage of the Advisor to HM the King for Media Affairs, Nabeel Yacoob Al-Hamar, researcher in regional and GCC affairs, Ambassador Hamad bin Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Amer, inaugurated two books entitled "Qatar the Bitter Reality" and "The Arabian Gulf between Interests and Challenges." The inauguration ceremony was held yesterday at the Al-Ayam Press Publishing and Distribution, in the presence of ambassadors, diplomats, academics and media persons. Al-Amer said that the two books document the main issues facing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, as well as the Qatari crisis. He expressed thanks to Nabeel Al-Hamar and the Al-Ayam Press Publishing and Distribution establishment for their support. HM the King’s media advisor praised the two books whose content emanates from the author’s experience and impressions during his four-decade work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He stressed that the "Qatar the Bitter Reality" book uncovers the role played by Qatar over the past years to rift the GCC entity. Ambassador Mohammed Noaman described the two books as scientific and diplomatic works that tackle GCC and European issues, noting that they contain in-depth analysis of the GCC reality.
