Bahrain Electricity Minister receives BCG Consulting delegation

Manama, (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from BCG Consulting International, led by the company’s Managing Director Arun Bruce. Representatives of government organisations concerned with advancing the technological revolution in Bahrain were present. The minister praised the role of the global consulting companies that deal with the field of industrial and technological development in various countries and their leading role in supporting development programmes and projects. Dr. Mirza gave a presentation to the delegation about Bahrain’s most important current and future projects in the electricity, water and renewable energy sectors. He said Bahrain’s leadership is interested on continuing to develop the electricity and water sector in general and the renewable energy sector in particular. The minister said he is ready to cooperate with BCG Consulting and provide all required information that serves the national economy and benefits Bahrain. The visitors thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality and said the meeting contributed to the recognition of the plans and projects of electricity, water and renewable energy sectors. Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Administrative and Financial Affairs at the Electricity and Water Authority Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Sadqi and Acting Director of the Sustainable Energy Unit Alexander Al Samahiji were present.
