Bahrain Health Minister meets with Sudanese counterpart

Khartoum, (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Said Al Saleh held a meeting with her Sudanese counterpart Mohammed Abu Zaid Mustafa, on the sidelines of the Bahraini delegation's participation in the 65th session of the World Health Organisation (WHO)'s Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean which is held in Khartoum, Sudan, from October 15 to 18. Al Saleh congratulated the Sudanese Health Minister on his appointment, wishing him every success and thanking him for Sudan's hosting of the regional committee's 65th meeting. The two ministers discussed bilateral cooperation, mainly in the health field, stressing the need to map out a scheduled work programme to activate the memorandum of understanding between both countries. The meeting was attended by Bahraini Charge D' Affaires to Sudan Ahmed Al Fardan and Health Ministry Media Head Mariam Al Manasir.
