Iranian province felt export ups 116%

Shahr-e Kord, Oct 17, IRNA – The export of felt products from Chahar Mahaal-Bakhtiari Province reached to 9,150 kilograms in the first half of the Iranian year (starting on March 21), said the artifact deputy of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran of the province on Wednesday. 'It was 4,220 kilogram in the same period last year,' said Mehrdad Raeesi, adding that the felt was exported to the US and Sweden. The exported felt products were costed almost one million euros. The felt made in Chahar Mahaal-Bakhtiari Province has been given UNESCO and Iran handicrafts certificates of authenticity. Follow us on Twitter @IrnaEnglish
