Qatar Fuel Opens Two New Petrol Stations in Lusail and HIA

Doha, October 17 (QNA) - Qatar Fuel opened Wednesday the Lusail Fox Hill and WOQOD Hamad International Airport (HIA) petrol stations, raising its network of various petrol stations to 69. CEO of the company Eng. Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi commented on the occasion and said "we are pleased to open two new petrol stations in Lusail Fox Hill and WOQOD HIA. WOQOD aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort. He noted that Qatar Fuel has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol station, adding that the company will announce the opening of new petrol stations during this month to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country. Al Muhannadi further added that the company is currently working in the construction of 28 petrol station projects, and a big number of these projects is expected to be operational this year. He explained that WOQOD has currently 7 new stations in the tendering phase and 10 stations in the design phase, assuring that this month of October will at least witness the opening of two new fixed petrol stations in Al Kharaitiyat and Al Thumama 2. The CEO revealed that Woqod will also open two Mobile diesel stations near to Wadi Albanat and Rowdat Al Hamama in the coming days. The company is also working on the dismantling of diesel dispensers from Wadi Albanat, and Rowdat Al Hamama petrol stations, and will replace them by petrol dispensers. Al Muhannadi concluded his announcement by saying that "As part of its strategic expansion plan, Woqod is targeting the achievement of a total of 120 fuel stations by the end of 2020". (QNA)
