Bahraini-Philippine parliamentary cooperation discussed

Geneva, Oct. 18 (BNA): Shura First Deputy Chairman, Deputy Chairman of Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation, Jamal Fakhro, here today, met a Philippine parliamentary delegation and highlighted Bahrain’s keenness to boost cooperation in various fields, mainly in parliamentary area. The meeting was held on the sidelines of Bahrain's participation in the 139th Inter-Parliamentary Union meetings being held in Geneva. Fakhro praised the political relations between the two countries and compatibility in visions on global issues. The two sides also discussed coordination in international parliamentary forums and legislative-related topics.
