Royal Guard holds celebration

Manama, Oct. 21 (BNA): The Royal Guard held today a celebration marking Royal Guard Commander Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa's winning of the Ironman World Championship, held recently in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, the USA. The ceremony was attended by the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Royal Guard Deputy Commander Brigadier Hamad Khalifa Al Nuaimi extended on behalf of the Royal Guard personnel heartfelt congratulations to Major General Shaikh Nasser on the occasion. The celebration was also attended by senior officers and members of the Royal Guard who congratulated Major General Shaikh Nasser on the historic international achievement through which he embodied the essence of challenge, determination and defiance of the impossible. Major General Shaikh Nasser thanked all the Royal Guard personnel for their kind feelings, describing the achievement as an accomplishment for Bahrain and all Arab people.
