4th Manama Entrepreneurship, Youth Empowerment Week kicks off

Manama, Oct. 21 (BNA): Capital Governor Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa today opened the fourth Manama Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment Week.  The event includes 15 workshops and seminars targeting 5000 participants. It aims to develop the youth's skills prior to entering the entrepreneurship field.  30 local and international speakers will talk about their successful experiences in the field of entrepreneurship.      The Governor, in his opening speech, highlighted Bahrain’s interest in empowering the Bahraini youth, organizing programmes and projects to upgrade their capabilities and enabling them, providing them with an appropriate environment and promoting their small projects, which will result in supporting the national economy.   This year's event was inspired by the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, for moving toward the digital economy and harnessing technology to support entrepreneurship and encourage innovation. The s4eminars and workshops will focus on topics, such as financial technology, future of businesses, market movement and innovation to stimulate ideas of the participating youth through introducing the successful experiences in the same field.
