Foreign Minister receives Arab Tourism Organisation president

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa on Thursday received Arab Tourism Organisation (ATO)'s President and member of the Higher Coordinating Committee for Arab Joint Action, Dr. Bandar bin Fahad Al Fuhaid, in the presence of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA)'s CEO Shaikh Khaled bin Humood Al Khalifa. The minister welcomed Dr. Al Fuhaid and praised the great efforts exerted by the Arab Tourism Organization in promoting tourism in the Arab countries. He also commended the role of the Organization in the development of joint Arab action and enhancing inter-Arab tourism, in order to support the efforts of sustainable development in the Arab countries. Dr. Al Fuhaid expressed his delight to meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and affirmed the keenness of the Arab Tourism Organisation to expand cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain in order to develop the tourism sector in the Kingdom and the Arab countries, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
