BCCI chairman among high-level business delegation led by HRH the Crown Prince to Future Investment Initiative

Manama, Oct. 25 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Chairman Sameer Nass was among the high-level business delegation led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to the Future Investment Initiative (FII) being held in Riyadh between 23-25 October 2018. The BCCI chairman underlined the importance of the event that being held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and spearheaded by Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Saudi Crown Prince Chairman of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs and Chairman of the Public Investment Fund, describing it as the largest investment event in the Middle East. He highlighted the key themes of the event, namely "Investing in Transformation", "Technology as Opportunity", and "Advancing Human Potentials", and expressed confidence in the potential of the event to meet its goals. The BCCI chairman said "We are very keen on attending this major investment event at the heart of our brotherly country the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" adding that "The event will include 40 sessions and open discussions, and will host top speakers from around the globe, thus constituting an invaluable opportunity to learn and exchange experiences, while at the same time meet and liaise with business owners". He also said that the initiative, organized by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, seeks to create new sectors and expand on opportunities that will shape the future global economy and drive regional economic transformation. He also underlined the important role the event plays in expanding global trade and economic cooperation to further enhance regional prosperity. Nass emphasised the importance of continuing to strengthen international business ties to further enhance global investment opportunities and living standards. Nass concluded his statement by emphasizing the importance of further strengthening the deep-rooted bond between the citizens of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia anchored in shared values and longstanding friendship, noting that the enduring trust and friendship will unlock new regional opportunities for citizens.
