Foreign Minister congratulates Iraqi counterpart

Manama, Oct.26 (BNA): Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa, held a phone call with his Iraqi counterpart Mohammed Ali Al-Hakeem and congratulated him on his appointment, wishing him success in leading his country’s foreign policy at this important stage. He stressed deep-rooted fraternal relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq, affirming keenness on enhancing joint action in order to further develop bilateral relations at all levels to achieve mutual interest. He also reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering support to the stability and development of the Republic of Iraq. The Iraqi minister expressed his sincere thanks to his Bahraini counterpart for his congratulations, stressing his country’s keenness on enhancing bilateral relations and developing joint cooperation. He also wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
