BDF Commander in Chief receives US Central Command commander

Manama, Oct. 27 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Gen. Joseph Votel, Commander of United States Central Command, on the sideline of his visit to Bahrain and his participation in the Manama Dialogue 2018. The meeting reviewed the friendly relations between Bahrain and the US and ways to bolster them as well as their enhancement at various levels, mainly in military coordination and defence cooperation. Issues of shared interests were also reviewed at the meeting attended by Defence Affairs Minister Lieutenant-General Yussef bin Ahmed Al Jalahma and BDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi.
