HRH Premier of Bahrain receives former Arab League Secretary General

Manama, (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace former Arab League Secretary General Amr Mussa. He hailed his visit to Bahrain, lauding his efforts when presiding the Arab League in boosting pan-Arab work and defending Arab issues. HRH the Premier commended the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving Arab issues and defending the security and stability of Arab and Islamic countries. He underscored the need for a united Arab will to face challenges to the Arab nation, preserve its security and stability and boost development efforts. HRH the Prime Minister underlined the importance of exchanging visits between officials from the Arab and GCC countries to coordinate visions and stances in serving common interests and promoting security and stability. He also praised the deep-rooted and growing Bahraini-Egyptian relations. The former Arab League Secretary General expressed thanks and respect to HRH the Premier, the Bahraini leadership and people for the gracious welcome, lauding HRH the Prime Minister's vision regarding the regional and international situation. He also praised his keenness to promote pan-Arab work and back efforts to maintain global security and stability.
