HRH Premier receives Philippine official

Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today the Philippines Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs Sarah Lou Arriola. He discussed with her ways of boosting bilateral relations in all fields, praising growing cooperation between the two friendly countries and stressing Bahrain's keenness to further bolster it to achieve common interests and aspirations. HRH the Premier hailed the efforts of the Philippine community in Bahrain and its contribution to the kingdom's development march. The Philippines Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs extended thanks and respect to HRH the Premier for his keenness to boost bilateral cooperation, praising the kingdom's civilisational way of treating the expatriate work force. She voiced happiness of the Philippine community about working in Bahrain, commending the climate of peace and openness in the kingdom as well as its modern and flexible labour laws.
