Bahrain participates in 2018 World Travel Market

Manama, Nov. 5 (BNA): Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) Executive Director chairs Bahrain’s delegation to participate in 2018 World Travel Market, scheduled for 5-7 November 2018 in the United Kingdom. Bahrain’s delegation comprises representatives of Bahrain Economic Development Board, Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to elite hotels and travel agencies. The BTEA Executive Director said Bahrain's participation aims to highlight the country's tourist attractions in in line with the BTEA’s strategy to promote the local tourism. He added the BTEA’s strategy targets attracting more British tourists through the BTEA’s branch office in the UK, in addition to promoting charter cruises and accentuate various development projects. Bahrain’s pavilion will showcase Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage, tourism scene and accommodation options for visitors.
