Shura chairman, UNIDO official discuss cooperation

Manama, Nov. 11 (BNA): Shura Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh received Dr. Hashim Hussain, Head of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation - Investment & Technology Promotion Office at the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). Al Saleh praised UNIDO's strong support and efforts to encourage entrepreneurship programmes in Bahrain and to motivate Bahraini youth to innovate in order to contribute to the sustainable development goals. Dr. Hashim praised the role of Shura Council in discussing proposals and draft laws aimed at boosting the economy in the Kingdom, stressing Bahrain’s important economic position in attracting investments.
