Southern Governor inspects rain affected areas

Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa the Southern Governor conducted an inspection tour in several areas of the governorate in the aftermath of torrential rainfall in the Kingdom, as part of His Highness’s keenness to ensure citizens’ safety. HH Shaikh Khalifa visited various public utilities and educational institutions to determine the impact of rainstorm in the governorate. He also visited the Riffa Police Station to support the role of the security agencies and their response. The governor explained that the governorate communicated with the competent authorities to set up a plan to determine the rainwater stagnation areas and find the suitable solutions to avoid its recurrence in residential neighbourhoods and on roads.
