Educational development plans reviewed

Manama, Nov. 12 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi met Executive Director of the Education and Training Development Project, Patricia Hekia Parata, and Hamad Al Maliki General Coordinator of Projects and Strategic Planning in the First Deputy Prime Minister (FDPM) Office, and other officials. The meeting reviewed Ministry of Education (MoE)-implemented initiatives and plans within the Government Action Plan and decisions issued by the Higher Education Council (HEC). They also reviewed the ministry’s plan to develop academic curricula in harmony with latest global developments in the field of education and acquisition of skills required in the twenty-first century in addition to the ministry’s preparations to implement the TIMSS & Pirls international tests.
