HM King receives Chechen President

Manama, Nov. 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today at the Sakhir Palace received President Ramzan Kadyrov of Chechnya and the accompanying delegation marking their visit to the country. HM the King reviewed the solid friendship relations and cooperation to benefit the joint goals. The Chechen President expressed appreciation of the warm welcome and generous hospitality, welcoming the royal interest to boost coordination between the two countries. HM the King praised the Chechen President’s successful visit to Bahrain last year, lauding his keenness to strengthen the bilateral relations in various fields. HM the King hailed the Chechen President’s development effort to his country in the interest of his people. The Chechen President highlighted his country’s interest in promoting relations with Bahrain at various levels, commending the development seen by Bahrain under the royal leadership. He pointed out the successful 2018 BIAS and the investment and trade opportunities it provides, wishing the kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. Regional and global developments were discussed, as well as topics of joint interests. HM the King host a luncheon in honour of the Chechen delegation.
