HH Shaikh Nasser hosts dinner banquet in honour of Chechen president

Manama, Nov. 16 (BNA): Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has hosted, in the presence of the SCYS Deputy Chairman and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, a dinner banquet in honour of the Chechen President, Ramzan Akhmadovich Kadyrov. Officials and senior personalities also attended the banquet. HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid exchanged cordial talks with the Chechen president on the solid relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples. President Kadyrov lauded the progress boom witnessed by Bahrain during the era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He praised the two countries’ distinguished relations which, he said, are based on solid foundations of love, rapprochement, joint cooperation and mutual trust. He also lauded the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS 2018), currently held in the kingdom, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity under HM the King’s leadership. He also expressed thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him. HH Shaikh Nasser and HH Shaikh Khalid presented the President Kadyrov with two commemorative gifts.
